Leeds United FPL: Who To Own, Captain And Avoid
The call — Leeds are worth buying — just make sure you're buying the right end. Our model has this defence as the second meanest in the league, and the clean-sheet run coming is a kind one — Newcastle and Palace at Elland Road, then Man Utd at home and trips to Sunderland and Bournemouth wrapped around the one genuinely nasty away day…
What has not being with FFIQ cost you this season?
One squad, picked before a ball was kicked and run for six gameweeks on three transfers — no hits taken. Scored on FPL’s own results.
Your name and your FPL team name. That is all it takes, and we will have your answer before you have finished reading this sentence.

The attack is a different story. Mid-table for goals on our numbers and staring at a tough run of fixtures for scoring. Which is the polite way of saying: Calvert-Lewin is the Leeds player everyone actually owns — about 2 or 3 in 10 managers have him — and he's the one our model likes least of the front-line picks. He's on penalties, he's nailed, and on his day he'll haul. But you're paying for the good weeks and eating the blanks in between, and the blanks are the more likely outcome against this fixture list. That's the shiny pick. Ask who's doing the scoring when the team's built to keep it at 0-0.
The value is at the back, and it's not close. Muharemović is our model's top Leeds asset — a fiver, starts every week, and hardly anyone has him (barely 3 in 10... make that 3 in 100). A defender in the league's second-best defence at bottom-shelf money is exactly what this column exists for. If you're squeezing every last 0.5m, Bogle at the minimum defender price is also nailed and also barely owned — that's a genuine enabler who plays, which is rarer than it should be. Trafford does the same job in goal for keeper money.
If you want a midfield route in, Stach is quietly interesting — he takes the corners and the free-kicks, so he gets the set-piece scraps in a team that will defend deep and attack dead balls. Owned by almost nobody.
The honest caveat: this is three starts of evidence, not thirty. A settled Leeds XI in August can look different by October, and promoted-side defences have burned managers before. But nailed minutes at the bottom price bracket is the whole bet, and right now they're all starting.
The call: buy the defence — Muharemović first, Bogle if the budget's tight — and leave Calvert-Lewin to the romantics. Fund your premiums at the other end of your squad; Leeds are the cheap floor that pays for them.
