FPL Differentials: The Low-Owned Picks To Target

Written for Gameweek 7. The Gameweek 8 edition publishes when the team news lands.
I keep a ledger of these calls. It's mostly green. Here's this week's.
Buy: Hinshelwood (BHA, MID, £5.9m)
A typical week gets you 4 points. On his day he can hit 12, and our model makes a big score roughly a one-in-6 shot each week — the best odds on this list by a distance. Brighton open with CRY (H), then go LIV (A) and MCI (A). The away pair looks ugly on paper, but the overall run is favourable and the projections like him regardless. At 0.5 owned-by-nobody, every haul is pure rank. Buy.
Buy: Neto (CHE, MID, £6.5m)
£6.5m, owned by barely 1 in 100. Chelsea get EVE (A), TOT (H), MUN (H) — a genuinely kind run. Projected around 26 points over six, usually a quiet 2-pointer but roughly a one-in-10 shot at going big in any given week. That's a patience pick. The hauls arrive in clumps. You want to be in before one.
The rest — watchlist only.
Dewsbury-Hall projects well but Everton face CHE (H), ARS (A), NEW (A). Tough run. Wait. Barnes at 8 in 100 is nearly template by my standards — pass. Cunha at £7.9m costs too much for the same one-in-10 haul odds Neto gives you at £6.5m. And Diego Gomez at £5.0m is the one I'd note down: same Brighton fixtures as Hinshelwood, decent projection, proper enabler price. But he's third in the queue behind his own teammate. If you only take one Brighton midfielder, the model says Hinshelwood, so it's Hinshelwood.
Honest caveat on both picks: quiet weeks are 1-pointers. These are not steady accumulators. You're buying the spikes, not the floor-sweeping weekly returns the template gives you.
The call: buy Hinshelwood now, add Neto if you've got a second slot. Everything else waits.
