Leeds United FPL: Who To Own, Captain And Avoid

This is the version of Leeds United FPL: Who To Own, Captain And Avoid from 14 September 2026, kept for the record. The picks and the numbers have moved since. The current version →

The call — Leeds: the value is all at the back — and it's dirt cheap Our model has Leeds as the third-meanest defence in the league right now, and it's handing them a very kind run for clean sheets: Crystal Palace at Elland Road, Manchester United at home, trips to Sunderland and Bournemouth, all inside the next six. That's the whole story…

One squad, picked before a ball was kicked and run for six gameweeks on three transfers — no hits taken. Scored on FPL’s own results.

And the back line is priced like nobody's noticed. Muharemović sits top of our list of every Leeds asset, he starts every week, and not even 1 in 10 managers own him. Bogle is the same story at the enabler price — a defender who actually plays, in a defence our model rates among the meanest around, for the cost of a bench body. That's the bit that matters: cheap Leeds defenders who are nailed. The one to avoid is Gudmundsson — same price as Bogle and Justin, one start, and that's the whole argument. A 4.5 who sits on Leeds' bench is worth nothing; a 4.5 who plays 90 in this defence is quietly one of the best floors in the game.

Trafford deserves his own line. A £5.0m keeper behind a top-three defence, owned by barely 1 in 20 — that's the sort of goalkeeper you set and forget.

The honest caveat: Arsenal away and Spurs at home are in that run, and no defence gets romance from those two. And on the other end, Calvert-Lewin — the most-owned Leeds player at roughly 2 in 10 — is the one priced for his upside rather than his week-to-week output. He's on penalties, which keeps him relevant, but with a tough attacking run our model likes him less than two defenders and the keeper. That tells you where not to spend.

What changes the call? Gudmundsson forcing his way in ahead of Bogle or Justin — watch the team sheets.

The call: buy into Leeds at the back. Muharemović if the budget stretches, Bogle if it doesn't, Trafford if you need a keeper. Leave the attack alone.
