Leeds United FPL: Who To Own, Captain And Avoid
The call — Leeds: the value's at the wrong end for the fixtures — and that's fine Here's the awkward bit up front: our model has a £5.0m Leeds defender projected to outscore their £6.0m penalty-taking striker over the next six weeks. That tells you most of what you need to know about how this run looks.
What has not being with FFIQ cost you this season?
One squad, picked before a ball was kicked and run for six gameweeks on three transfers — no hits taken. Scored on FPL’s own results.
Your name and your FPL team name. That is all it takes, and we will have your answer before you have finished reading this sentence.

And the run is honest work: Brighton away, Newcastle at home, Palace, then Arsenal away, Manchester United at Elland Road, Sunderland away. We rank Leeds mid-pack at both ends — 11th for attack, 9th for defence — which is respectable, but the fixture list squeezes it. Neither the goals nor the clean sheets come easy through this stretch.
Calvert-Lewin is still the way in if you want in. Top of our list for the club, nailed, on penalties, and about 1 in 4 managers already own him — for £6.0m that's a forward who plays every week and is good for roughly four points most gameweeks, with the pen upside doing the heavy lifting on his big days. He's priced for his floor, not his ceiling, which is exactly how I like a cheap forward. He won't win you a gameweek; he won't cost you a bench headache either.
The genuinely interesting stuff is the defence, because it's cheap and it starts. Muharemović at £5.0m projects like a proper starter and hardly anyone owns him — well under 1 in 10. Justin at £4.5m is nailed too, which at that price is the whole job description. The caveat is the same for both: the fixtures are as unkind to clean sheets as they are to goals, so you're buying appearance points and the odd shutout, not a run of them. Trafford at £5.0m is a perfectly sensible keeper on the same logic.
Stach deserves a line — set-piece duty on frees and corners at £6.0m — but midfield is where your money should be buying ceiling, and his lives elsewhere. Harry Wilson at £6.4m is the one the model quietly ranks below cheaper teammates; take the hint.
The romance-free call: don't chase Leeds attackers through Arsenal and United. If you need a body, Calvert-Lewin at £6.0m is the buy — nailed, on pens, sensibly priced. And if you're building a bench that actually plays, Justin at £4.5m is the best value on this page. Buy those two roles, skip everything above them.
