Terms of Service & End User License Agreement — Fantasy Football IQ
Version 1.4 · Last updated: 2026-09-07
These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Fantasy Football IQ Limited, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 17371385) with registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Fantasy Football IQ app and related services (the "App"). They apply alongside our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
How you accept these Terms. When you create an account we ask you to confirm that you accept these Terms, and we record which version you accepted and when. If you created your account before we began asking, or you continue using the App after a new version takes effect (see *Changes to these Terms*), your continued use is your acceptance.
1. Not affiliated with the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League
Fantasy Football IQ is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with the Premier League, Premier League Fantasy Football, the official Fantasy Premier League game, or any club. "Premier League", "Fantasy Premier League" and "FPL" are used only to describe the game the App helps you play, and all such names and marks belong to their respective owners. Player and team information reflects publicly available data.
2. What the App does — and does not do
The App is an information and analytics assistant for managers of the official Fantasy Premier League game. It provides suggestions on transfers, captaincy, chips, effective ownership, rank and similar decisions.
- The App does not sign in to, control, or make any changes to your Fantasy Premier League team. Every action in your FPL team is made by you, on the official service.
- All advice is informational and for entertainment, provided on a best-effort basis. It is not professional, financial, investment, betting, or gambling advice, and it is not a guarantee of any result, rank, or improvement.
- Our suggestions are not exclusive to you. They are produced by models that many people use, so other users may receive the same or similar suggestions, and a player we highlight may become widely owned. That is a normal feature of the game and is not a fault in the App.
- You are solely responsible for the decisions you make. Verify anything important (e.g. player fitness, deadlines) against official sources before acting.
3. Performance figures and statistics
We publish figures describing how our projections have performed — for example, the share of players whose points we projected within a stated margin. Wherever such a figure appears, it is:
- historical, measured over a stated past sample, and not a prediction of future accuracy;
- an average across many players and gameweeks, not a promise about any individual player, gameweek, fixture, or user; and
- not a contractual commitment. Football is uncertain and our models will sometimes be badly wrong.
We do not warrant or guarantee any level of accuracy. We take reasonable care that figures we publish are calculated honestly and that we state the sample they come from.
4. The AI assistant
The App includes an assistant powered by a third-party AI provider. AI-generated output can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Do not rely on it as your sole basis for a decision. You are responsible for the messages you send; do not submit unlawful content or another person's personal data. We process assistant messages as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) and able to form a binding contract. The App is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children.
6. Your account and the one-team lock
You sign in with Sign in with Apple, Google, or a one-time email link. You are responsible for keeping your device and sign-in secure and for activity under your account. You link one Fantasy Premier League Team ID; to prevent abuse, the linked Team ID is locked for a period (currently 30 days) before it can be changed. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
7. Subscriptions, billing and renewals
The App offers a free tier (Core) and a paid Premium subscription, with features described in the App.
- Billing. Paid subscriptions are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions and are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscription management is handled via those stores and our subscription-management provider. We never receive or store your card details.
- Auto-renewal. A subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free trials / introductory offers. If offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Onboarding "free Premium" access, where offered, lasts for the stated period and then reverts to the free tier unless you subscribe.
- Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by the stores and are subject to Apple's and Google's refund policies and your non-waivable statutory rights. We do not separately process store purchases.
- Price changes. We may change prices or plan features prospectively; where required we will notify you and, for auto-renewing subscriptions, obtain any consent the stores require before a higher price applies.
8. Licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit the App or its output;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or models, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
- scrape, bulk-export, or redistribute data obtained through the App, or use it to build or train a competing product or dataset;
- probe, overload, disrupt, or circumvent security, rate limits, or the subscription/entitlement system;
- share, sell, or transfer your account, or use one account for several people;
- use the App unlawfully, or to infringe anyone's rights.
Sharing individual insights with friends or your mini-league in the ordinary way — including the shareable graphics the App produces for that purpose — is fine and is not "redistribution".
10. Intellectual property
The App, its content, models, ratings, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights except the licence above. If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, we may use them freely and without obligation to you; you keep any rights you already had in them, and we do not claim ownership of anything else you create.
11. Data you give us and data we derive
The Privacy Policy governs personal data. In addition:
- Your content. You keep ownership of what you put into the App. You grant us a licence to host, process and display it as far as we need to in order to run the service for you.
- Aggregated and anonymised data. We may use information about how the App is used, and how our projections performed against real results, to test and improve our models and to publish statistics about them. Anything we publish is aggregated or anonymised so that it does not identify you.
- News and offers about Fantasy Football IQ. Because you have an account with us, we may contact you about our own service — new features and tools, tips on getting more out of the App, FPL analysis and editorial we publish, pricing and subscription offers, events, and short surveys — by email, push notification and in-app message (and by SMS or messaging apps only if you have given us a number for that purpose). We do this on the basis that you asked us for an FPL service and this is that service talking; you do not need to tick a box for it. It is optional and you can stop it at any time: every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe, there is a switch in Settings, and either one stops all marketing email and notifications from us, not just the kind you clicked from. If you tell us no — at sign-up, in Settings, or by unsubscribing — that answer governs and we will not send marketing again unless you ask us to.
- Offers from anyone else need your say-so. We will only ever send you third-party or partner offers if you have separately and explicitly opted in to them, and we do not do this today.
- Service messages are not marketing. Sign-in links, billing receipts, a reminder before a free period ends, a notice that these Terms have changed, and confirmation if you delete your account are necessary to run your account and are sent whatever you choose above.
- We do not sell your personal data.
12. Third-party services and data sources
The App relies on third-party providers and data sources, each with its own terms — including the public Fantasy Premier League API (read-only public game data), the Apple and Google app stores, and our subscription-management, AI, hosting, email, and push-notification providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their terms.
13. Availability, and events outside our control
We aim to keep the App available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted. Much of what the App does depends on data we do not control — above all the public Fantasy Premier League API. If a source changes, is delayed, becomes unavailable, or stops being published, parts of the App may be delayed, degraded, or withdrawn.
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including changes to or outages of third-party data sources or platforms, hosting or network failures, and acts of government. If a paid feature is unavailable for a significant period for such a reason, contact us and you may cancel and receive a refund of the unused part of your current paid period.
14. Disclaimers
Except for the rights you have by law that cannot be excluded, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any advice will improve your rank or results. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud), and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that digital content be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities. We are not liable for the outcome of decisions you make in your Fantasy Premier League team, including rank, points, prizes, or wagers placed elsewhere. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or £50 / $50. Your non-waivable statutory/consumer rights are unaffected.
16. Your responsibility to us
If you break these Terms or use the App unlawfully, and that causes us loss — for example a claim by someone else, or the cost of dealing with abuse of the service — you are responsible for that loss. This applies only to loss caused by your own breach or unlawful use, and only so far as that loss was reasonably foreseeable. It does not apply to ordinary use of the App, and it does not affect your statutory rights.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to comply with law.
- Where we suspend or terminate a paid account for a minor or first breach, we will tell you why and, where practical, give you a chance to put it right.
- Where we end a paid account for a serious or repeated breach — for example scraping, reselling access, or circumventing the entitlement system — we may do so without refunding the current period.
- If we withdraw the App or a paid feature entirely, we will refund the unused part of your current paid period.
- If you raise a payment dispute or chargeback with the store or your bank, please contact us first — most problems are quicker to fix directly, and we may suspend an account while a dispute is open.
Sections that by their nature should survive (10, 11, 14, 15, 16 and 19) survive termination.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update the App and these Terms — for example to reflect new features, or a change in the law or in the data sources we depend on.
- For minor changes we will update the version and "Last updated" date above.
- For changes that materially affect your rights, we will give you reasonable notice in-app or by email before they take effect, and we will ask you to accept the new version.
- If you do not accept a material change, you may stop using the App and cancel your subscription; if you cancel for that reason we will refund the unused part of your current paid period.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms requires you to give up any right to bring a claim in a court that the law guarantees you.

21. Mini-League Guarantee
A promotional offer that runs alongside a Premium subscription: win your nominated mini-league, or next season is on us. It is optional — you accept it by ticking the box when you subscribe, and these Terms record which version you accepted. It does not affect your statutory rights.
- What you get. If you meet every condition below and do not finish first in your nominated mini-league over the gameweeks in *Qualifying*, we credit your 2027/28 Premium subscription with the value of what you paid us for 2026/27 — no more and no less. This is a subscription credit, not a cash refund, and no money is returned to you under this offer. If you hold an active paid subscription when the credit is applied, we stop your billing for the covered period rather than charge you and credit you separately.
- Who can take it up. New paid subscribers only — you must not have held a paid subscription during the 2025/26 season. You must subscribe through our website; purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are not eligible, because those stores control billing and we cannot vary it. One claim per person and per account.
- When it closes. You must start your paid subscription on or before the Gameweek 8 deadline (Friday 23 October 2026, 18:30 UK). Subscriptions remain available all season — it is the guarantee that closes to new members at that deadline, not the product.
- Staying subscribed. You must hold a paid subscription continuously from the date you subscribe until the end of Gameweek 38, and keep the same linked FPL Team ID for the whole season. If either lapses, the guarantee ends and cannot be reinstated.
- Nominating your league. You nominate one mini-league at the point of purchase, locked at the next Gameweek deadline. It must be a classic scoring invitational league of 10 to 100 managers that ran from Gameweek 1 and was created before the Gameweek 1 deadline. Head-to- head, cup, public and global leagues are not eligible. Your team must be a member when you nominate and remain one all season. A maximum of five subscribers may nominate the same league; if that is reached you are told at nomination, before you pay.
- Staying eligible. You must open your transfer recommendations before every Gameweek deadline, from your first full Gameweek as a paid subscriber to Gameweek 38. You do not have to make the transfer we recommend — the decision is always yours. This is tracked automatically and you can see your own record in the App. If we do not publish a recommendation for a Gameweek, that Gameweek does not count against you. If a deadline is moved or a Gameweek cancelled, we act reasonably and do not hold a rescheduling against you.
- Qualifying. Your position is worked out over the gameweeks you were a paid subscriber for — from your first full Gameweek to Gameweek 38 — not over the whole season, because we only count the weeks we actually advised you on. Points come from the official FPL game and are net of transfer hits. This means your position under this offer may differ from the league table shown in the FPL app; the figure we will use is shown in your account.
- Claiming. Claim from the App, or email support@fantasyfootballiq.app from your registered address with your nominated league ID and final position, between 31 May 2027 and 13 July 2027. Claims outside that window cannot be accepted. We confirm the outcome within 30 days of an approved claim and apply the credit before the 2027/28 season begins.
- Verification. We verify claims against official FPL data and our own activity records. If we decline a claim we tell you which condition was not met and on what evidence. We may refuse a claim where we reasonably believe the offer has been abused, including leagues created or populated to manufacture eligibility, or the use of multiple accounts or FPL teams by one person. You can ask us to review any decision.
- Withdrawal. We may withdraw the offer for new subscribers at any time. Withdrawal does not affect anyone who has already subscribed and accepted it. If the 2026/27 season is abandoned or materially curtailed, we will act reasonably and publish how the offer is affected.
Schedule A — Apple App Store EULA terms
This Schedule applies when you obtain the App from the Apple App Store and supplements the Terms above. Where it conflicts with the Apple Standard EULA (Licensed Application End User License Agreement), the following minimum terms apply:
- This agreement is between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Scope of licence. The licence granted is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
- Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for any maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support.
- Warranty. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims are our responsibility.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal/regulatory compliance, and consumer-protection claims.
- Intellectual property. In the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not on any U.S. Government prohibited-party list.
- Developer contact. For questions or complaints, contact us at support@fantasyfootballiq.app.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms (e.g. your wireless data plan) when using the App.
- Apple as third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you.
Schedule B — Google Play
If you obtained the App from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Subscriptions are billed and managed through your Google Play account; refunds and cancellations follow Google Play policies.
