Fulham FPL: Who To Own, Captain And Avoid
The call — Fulham: value at the wrong end, but the cheap stuff starts Here's the thing our model keeps flagging about Fulham: the best pick at the club is the goalkeeper. Leno tops our rankings for the whole squad, at the cheapest keeper price on the board, owned by barely 3 in 10 — sorry, about 3 in *100*. Hardly anyone has…
What has not being with FFIQ cost you this season?
One squad, picked before a ball was kicked and run for six gameweeks on three transfers — no hits taken. Scored on FPL’s own results.

The honest picture first. This is one of the league's bluntest attacks — bottom four by our reckoning — and the fixtures do their forwards no favours. So Gonzalo at £6.0m, priced like a striker who scores, is exactly the sort of shiny cheap forward I'm allergic to. Penalties help his case, but a blunt attack in a tough run is a blunt attack in a tough run.
The defence is only mid-table by our numbers, and the clean-sheet fixtures are merely average — but average is fine when everything costs £4.5m. Leno, Robinson and Castagne all start every week, all sit at the basement price, and all project a steady 3ish points a game with clean-sheet weeks on top. Ipswich away, Hull at home and Coventry away are the games where those clean sheets actually land. Robinson is on penalties too, which is a strange and lovely bonus for a full-back nobody owns.
The one attacker I'd entertain is Josh King — our model ranks him second at the club, above every other Fulham midfielder, he's nailed, and at £5.5m he's priced for his floor rather than a ceiling he doesn't have. Iwobi takes every set piece going and is 10p cheaper, but the model prefers King, and I don't argue with the ordering. Neither is a season-changer; both are the kind of fifth midfielder who quietly never blanks.
What changes the call? If Fulham's attack wakes up against Hull or Coventry, revisit Gonzalo. Until then, no.
The call: buy Leno as your starting keeper or Robinson as your £4.5m defender — both start, both are basically free. King if you need a cheap fifth mid. Leave the Fulham attack alone.
