FPL Transfers: The Most-Bought And Most-Sold Players
The Crowd's Ledger: João Pedro Is the Day's Big Buy
The sharpest line in today's books: João Pedro added 2.1% of all managers in a single day — comfortably the biggest move on the board — and he now sits in roughly 7 in 10 squads. That's bandwagon territory, and bandwagons move prices. If he's on your shortlist, the maths of waiting gets worse by the day: every manager who buys him before you is a tenth of a million you don't get back.
The rest of the forward line tells the other side of the story. Isak shed 1.2% and the drift looks steady rather than panicked — about 1.6 in 10 still own him, but the direction of travel is out. Owners don't need to join the stampede, but they should know which way the door is swinging, because selling after a price fall is how value quietly leaks out of a squad.
In midfield there's a genuine changing of the guard. Groß climbed 1.2% and leapfrogged Bruno Fernandes — who lost 0.9% — into second spot among midfielders, with both now sitting around 3.7 in 10. That's the template rewriting itself in real time: the crowd is swapping one for the other almost like-for-like. Fernandes owners shouldn't sell on a crowd move alone, but if you were already wavering, the window to get out before the money follows the ownership is now, not next week.
At the back, De Cuyper's 1.3% rise is the quiet one worth noting — he's up to about 3 in 10 owned and climbing faster than anyone else in defence. Calafiori remains the most-owned defender at over half of all squads, so he's a hold-by-default; De Cuyper is the one where early movers bank the value.
Goalkeepers: nothing moved. Raya still anchors more than 4 in 10 squads and the whole top ten held rank. File and forget.
The call: if you want João Pedro, buy him now — at 2.1% a day of new owners, the price pressure is real and waiting is expensive. De Cuyper is the defensive buy before the crowd fully arrives. And fade the Isak panic for one more week — don't sell into a falling market unless you've already got the replacement lined up.
