FPL Transfers: The Most-Bought And Most-Sold Players
The Crowd Is Selling João Pedro — And The Ledger Says Hurry
The day's biggest entry in the book is a red one: João Pedro shed 2.8% of the game overnight — the sharpest single move anywhere on the sheet — and with it, top spot in the forward table. Haaland takes over at number one, owned by roughly 7 in 10 managers, and he added owners while João Pedro bled them. That's not drift. That's a queue forming at the exit, and in FPL the exit queue is where prices fall. If you're an owner planning to move him on anyway, the timing question answers itself: sell before the drop eats your selling price, not after.
On the buy side, the crowd's money is going three places. Gibbs-White is the day's biggest riser (+1.6), climbing into the midfield top ten and pushing Tzolis out of it. Calvert-Lewin added 1.2 and now sits third among forwards at nearly a quarter of the game — a proper bandwagon, not a blip. And Gvardiol (+1.1) leapfrogged De Cuyper into second among defenders, while Tarkowski quietly slid into the top ten at the back too.
The template itself barely moved otherwise. Raya, Calafiori and Fernandes hold their crowns; Rogers keeps creeping up (+0.8) and is closing on Fernandes for the most-owned midfielder spot — worth watching, because when a 4-in-10 player is being bought daily, his price only moves one way.
The honest caveat: one day of ownership movement is one day. Bandwagons can stall on a single blank, and Gibbs-White's surge in particular is fresh — chasing a rise for its own sake is how you end up with a player you never wanted at a price you locked in too early.
But the ledger doesn't care about feelings, it cares about timing. Three calls:
Sell João Pedro now if you were going anyway — a 2.8-point ownership drop in a day is exactly the traffic that triggers price falls, and every night you wait costs you £0.1m of selling price.
Buy Gibbs-White or Calvert-Lewin early if they're on your shortlist — both are being bought at pace, and getting in before the rise banks you value the latecomers pay for.
Fade the Tzolis exit — a 0.5 dip and an 11th-place ranking isn't a collapse; if you own him, hold and let the panickers pay the moving costs.
The call: move on João Pedro tonight, jump the Gibbs-White wagon before the price does, and leave your Tzolis line exactly where it is.
