Nottingham Forest FPL: Who To Own, Captain And Avoid
The call — Forest: the fixture list does the talking Six fixtures, and the kindest word for them is "grim". Crystal Palace away, Arsenal at home, then trips to Ipswich, Brentford and Bournemouth wrapped around Manchester City at the City Ground. Ipswich away is the only one you'd circle, and our model rates Forest mid-to-lower pack at both ends — neither a sharp…

So where does the value sit? Not in the attack, bluntly. Gibbs-White is the headline act — nailed, on penalties and free kicks, and comfortably top of our list for the club — but at £8.0m you're paying for his good days, and this run doesn't offer many. About 1.5 in 10 managers own him; I wouldn't be joining them until the fixtures turn. Delap is cheaper but he's started three of five, and a forward who gets hooked or benched is no forward at all.
The honest value is at the back, which is a strange sentence to write about a side with a tough clean-sheet outlook. Murillo starts every week, chips in on free kicks, and hardly anyone owns him — fewer than 1 in 10 by a distance. Neco Williams is the same story a rung cheaper: nailed, on set pieces, corners and free kicks both. Sels at £5.0m is a perfectly honest keeper who never misses a game. These are players who turn up every week, and that's what a budget slot is actually for. Muñoz, note, has only started three of five — that's the rotation trap wearing a tempting price tag. Jair Cunha at £4.5m is the genuine enabler shout if he keeps starting, but four from five isn't quite "set your watch by him" yet.
The caveat is obvious: enablers from a 14th-ranked defence facing Arsenal and City don't bank many clean sheets in the next six. You're buying minutes and the odd bonus, not hauls. The upside is that Ipswich, Brentford and Bournemouth away are all winnable shut-outs for a settled back line, and Murillo's price won't move while nobody's looking.
The call: leave the Forest attack alone — Gibbs-White goes on the watchlist for when the run softens. If you need a cheap defender who actually plays, buy Murillo; Williams if the budget's tighter. Everyone else here is a pass.
