Manchester United FPL: Who To Own, Captain And Avoid
The call — United's fixtures read like a shopping list — and the defence isn't on it. Our model rates this attack the second-best in the league, and it's about to be handed a very kind run: after Manchester City at Old Trafford, it's Fulham away, Spurs at home, Leeds away, Bournemouth at home, Chelsea away. That's the sort of stretch you buy…
What has not being with FFIQ cost you this season?
One squad, picked before a ball was kicked and run for six gameweeks on three transfers — no hits taken. Scored on FPL’s own results.
Your name and your FPL team name. That is all it takes, and we will have your answer before you have finished reading this sentence.

The attack is where the money earns. Bruno Fernandes tops our list — pens, free kicks, corners, the lot — and he's projected north of 50 points over the six. Nearly 5 in 10 managers own him, so he's hardly a secret, and £12.0m is a serious cheque. But he's the one United player whose points don't depend on someone else's decision: if there's a penalty or a set piece, it's his.
Bruno Mbeumo is the value route. £7.9m, second on pens and corners, projected for a solid 6-7 a week over this run, and only about 2-3 in 10 own him. Cunha sits at the same price but our model clearly prefers Mbeumo — the set-piece involvement is the difference, and I'll take the man on the dead balls every time. Tielemans at £5.9m is the sneaky enabler shout — hardly anyone owns him and he's third in the penalty queue — but that's a punt, not a plan.
The honest caveat: we're two games into the season and nobody in this squad is what I'd call nailed yet. Two starts is two starts. Ten Hag's successors past and present have taught us United minutes can't be assumed until the pattern settles.
The call: buy Mbeumo now at £7.9m — he's the best pound-for-pound route into a top-two attack on lovely fixtures. If the budget stretches, Fernandes is the safer floor and worth the premium. The defenders? Not this run. Not at any price they're currently asking.
