FPL Transfers: The Most-Bought And Most-Sold Players
The call — The crowd's new favourite: Cherki leads the day's buying The biggest single-day move on the ledger belongs to Rayan Cherki. The City midfielder added more owners yesterday than anyone we track — he's now in roughly 3 in 10 squads and climbing fastest of the lot. When the crowd piles in at that rate, the price follows. If he's on…

He's not alone. Brighton are getting double-bought: Groß (owned by nearly 4 in 10) and De Cuyper (about 3.5 in 10) both put on healthy chunks of ownership yesterday — managers are clearly buying the Brighton defence and midfield as a package. Rogers, already the most-owned midfielder in the game at about 4.5 in 10, is still adding owners, and up front João Pedro keeps swelling towards fully-template status — he's in roughly 7 in 10 teams now, closing on Haaland's 7.5.
Now the sell side of the book. Szoboszlai and Bruno Fernandes were the day's biggest losers, shedding owners at a similar clip, and Fernandes has now been overtaken by his own team-mate — Mbeumo nudged past him into the midfield top seven even while standing still. That's the tell: United managers aren't abandoning the club, they're swapping within it. Wissa and Isak are also bleeding owners slowly, which is the quiet kind of drift that turns into a price fall if it runs for a week.
The honest caveat on all of this: ownership moves are the crowd's opinion, not evidence of form. A 0.9 rise in a day says managers *believe* in Cherki — it doesn't by itself tell you he'll haul. Chasing every bandwagon costs hits; the skill is picking the one that also makes footballing sense.
Here it does. Cherki offers a genuine route into the City attack without paying Haaland money, and the buying pressure means the entry price only goes one way from here. The Brighton pair are the value plays if your defence needs refreshing — De Cuyper especially, as a defender the crowd is actively backing.
The call: if Cherki is anywhere in your plans, buy now and beat the rise — that's the bandwagon worth jumping. Hold Fernandes if you own him; one day of selling is noise, not a verdict, and crystallising a loss to follow the herd is bad accounting. Fade the Szoboszlai exit for the same reason — but if he's still drifting this time next week, sell before the price does your thinking for you.
