FPL Transfers: The Most-Bought And Most-Sold Players
The Ledger Sat Still Today — Which Is Exactly When You Move
Not one player changed rank in any of the four top-10 tables between yesterday and today. Zero. In a market this size, a completely flat day is rare — and for anyone who watches prices for a living, it's a gift, because the small print still moved even if the headlines didn't.
The one line item worth circling is Pascal Groß. The Brighton midfielder added more ownership in a single day than anyone else on the board — roughly five times the drift of the next-biggest mover — and he's already in about 3 in 10 squads. When a player is climbing that steadily inside a static market, the price rise usually arrives before the bandwagon gets loud. If he's on your shortlist, the cheapest day to buy him is today, not Friday.
The quieter red ink is on the other side of the ledger. Szoboszlai and Palmer both leaked owners overnight — nothing dramatic, but a slow drip from players held by roughly 3 in 10 managers each is how price falls start. If you own either and were planning to sell anyway, don't dawdle and hand back £0.1m of selling price for the privilege. If you're holding for the fixtures, fine — but hold on purpose, not out of inertia.
Elsewhere the template is set in concrete. Haaland sits in nearly three-quarters of squads, João Pedro in about 6.5 in 10, Calafiori owned by half the game, Raya in about 4 in 10. None of them moved a meaningful inch today, which tells you the crowd has finished building its core and is now trading at the margins. That's where the value is won: the big names cost everyone the same; the Groß-sized moves are where you bank the £0.1m rises that fund your November transfers.
The honest caveat: one flat day is one flat day. Tomorrow's tables could look different, and a half-point drift can stall as easily as it can snowball.
The call: if Groß fits your plans, buy him now and beat the rise. If you're done with Szoboszlai or Palmer, sell before the drip becomes a drop. Everything else — hold, and let the ledger come to you.
