FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall

This is the version of FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall from 25 September 2026, kept for the record. The picks and the numbers have moved since. The current version →

The call — Price Watch: Beat the De Cuyper Rise Tonight A quarter of a million managers have moved for De Cuyper since the last price change, and that's the kind of number that doesn't leave room for doubt. He's the closest thing to a lock on tonight's riser list, and with nearly 3 in 10 managers already owning him, the momentum isn't…

The ledger tonight looks like this. Four names are pressing hard against their thresholds on the way up: De Cuyper leads on roughly 255,000 net transfers in, Tarkowski sits just behind on 181,000 (owned by about 1 in 6 managers), Brobbey is on 157,000 with about 1 in 14 squads holding him, and King — hardly anyone's player at 1 in 40 — has quietly banked 60,000 buys. All four are likely, none are certain. That's the honest framing: the thresholds move, and a heavy day of sales elsewhere can shift the line. But when a player clears a quarter of a million net buys, "likely" is doing a lot of polite understatement.

On the way down, only one name matters to real squads: Wilson, bleeding 37,000 net sales with about 1 in 60 still holding. The rest of the faller list — Beto, Amenda, Hinshelwood, Fatawu, Wieffer, Lavia, Norton-Cuffy — are all under 1 in 100 owned, moving on trickles of a few thousand sales each. If you own one of those, you're a rare breed, and the £0.1m at stake is real but small.

Here's where the accounting gets useful. A rise you beat is £0.1m of value banked before you've even picked your team; a fall you dodge by waiting is £0.1m saved on the way in. The mistake managers make on price-watch night is buying a player they don't actually want just to catch a rise — that's speculation dressed as thrift. Only move early on players who were already on your shortlist.

The call: if De Cuyper, Tarkowski or Brobbey were coming in this week anyway, do it tonight — De Cuyper especially, because his rise is as close to nailed as these things get. King is only for managers who genuinely rate him; don't chase a £0.1m tail on a player you'll sell in a fortnight. And if Wilson or any of the fallers are on your buy list, sit on your hands until after the deadline passes tonight — let the price come down to you. Buy the risers you wanted anyway; wait out every faller. The ledger rewards patience in one direction and speed in the other.
