FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall

This is the version of FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall from 7 September 2026, kept for the record. The picks and the numbers have moved since. The current version →

The call — PRICE WATCH: Eight likely to rise tonight, eight quietly draining value Over 269,000 managers have moved for Isak this week — the biggest queue at the till anywhere in the game — and only about 2 in 10 already own him. That's a rise waiting to happen, and every night you sit on your hands is £0.1m you'll never get…

He's not alone. Palmer (213,000+ net transfers in, roughly 2 in 10 owned) is right behind him, and the pair are the two moves that actually matter here: if either is on your shortlist for this week or next, the sensible ledger play is to buy tonight rather than pay more tomorrow for the exact same player.

The defensive book is busy too. Calafiori — already in nearly half of all squads — has pulled in another 168,000 buyers, with De Cuyper (175,000), Hall (166,000) and Konsa (165,000) all crowding the same threshold. None of these is certain — price changes never are, and the line can shift on the night — but four defenders this close together tells you the market has made up its mind on where the cheap clean sheets live.

Two cheaper names deserve a flag: Scott has 143,000 net buyers against ownership of under 4 in 10... make that under 4 in 100 — hardly anyone owns him, which makes a rise far more likely at that volume. Barnes (61,000 in, about 2 in 100 owners) is the same story in miniature. If either is your budget enabler plan, tonight is the cheap night.

On the other side of the ledger, the fallers are a graveyard of abandoned punts — Martinelli, Jesus, Hinshelwood, Wieffer — all being shipped out in numbers, all barely owned. Here the maths flips: do not rush to sell. Wait the fall out. If you're offloading Hinshelwood or Wieffer anyway, a £0.1m drop only dents your selling price by half that, and none of these players is going anywhere useful in the meantime.

The call: if Isak or Palmer is your plan for the next fortnight, make the transfer before tonight's deadline and bank the £0.1m — same player, cheaper. The defenders can be bought tonight too if you're decided, but don't force a move you haven't planned just to chase a rise. And leave the fallers alone until you're genuinely ready to move them on. Buy your risers early; sell your fallers late. That's how the ledger stays healthy.
