FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall

This is the version of FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall from 6 September 2026, kept for the record. The picks and the numbers have moved since. The current version →

Price Watch: Gakpo Leads Tonight's Risers — Move Before the Ledger Does

Over 227,000 managers have bought Cristiano Gakpo on a net basis, and that's the kind of number that doesn't survive a price checkpoint. Of everyone sitting near tonight's thresholds, he's the closest to ticking up — and once he does, that's £0.1m you'll never get back on the buy side.

Let's do the risers first, because that's where the clock matters.

Gakpo is the headline. Roughly 1 in 10 managers own him already, and a net 227k more piling in means tonight is very likely the night. If he's in your plans for the next fortnight anyway, bringing him in this evening rather than Friday is free money — £0.1m of squad value banked for moving 48 hours early.

Isak is next in the queue. Nearly 2 in 10 own him and a net 140k have bought this week. He's slightly further from the line than Gakpo, so "likely" rather than "nailed", but if he's your striker plan, the same logic applies.

Scott is the quiet one — hardly anyone owns him, but a net 76k transfers in is serious traffic for a cheap player. Budget enablers rising is exactly how you end up £0.2m short on a wildcard later. If he's your fifth midfielder, don't dawdle.

Now the fallers — and here the accountant's advice is the opposite: patience pays.

Beto (net 21k out) and Woltemade (net 17k out) are bleeding fastest, with Sánchez not far behind on 15k. The rest — Martinelli, Jesus, Bailey, Wieffer, Souza — are drifting down more slowly, mostly barely-owned squad fillers. If any of these are on your shopping list, there is zero reason to buy tonight. Wait a day, and there's a decent chance you get the same player £0.1m cheaper. That's not a big win, but this game is won £0.1m at a time.

The one caveat worth stating plainly: these are likely moves, not certainties. Price changes depend on where each player sits against tonight's threshold, and a late swing in transfers can push someone over the line early or hold them back a night.

The call: if Gakpo, Isak or Scott are genuinely in your plans, buy tonight and pocket the rise — Gakpo first, he's nearest the line. Everyone on the falling list can wait until tomorrow. Never pay today's price for a player who'll be cheaper in the morning.
