FPL Budget Picks: The Best FWD Under £7.5
The call — Budget forwards under £7.5m: who's actually worth your money Thirty forwards qualify under £7.5m this week, and only one of them projects for six points a game. That's Wissa at £6.2m, and the gap between him and the rest of this bracket is embarrassing — we've got him down for around 36 points over the next six, starting at Coventry…
What has not being with FFIQ cost you this season?
One squad, picked before a ball was kicked and run for six gameweeks on three transfers — no hits taken. Scored on FPL’s own results.

The romance-free run through the rest, one line each:
Calvert-Lewin (LEE, £6.0m) — the most-owned player here, roughly 1 in 4 squads, but the fixtures turn nasty starting at Arsenal. Solid, not exciting: 3-4 points a week is the realistic offer.
Brobbey (SUN, £5.7m) — Brighton at home first, then a tough run. Hardly owned. Similar output to Calvert-Lewin for £0.3m less, if he plays.
Barry (EVE, £5.6m) — Hull away is fine; everything after it isn't. About 1 in 10 own him.
Emersonn (IPS, £5.5m) — unproven at this level, tough fixtures. Fulham at home first. Pass until we see minutes.
Evanilson (BOU, £6.0m) — average fixtures, starts at Chelsea, and the projection doesn't justify the price.
Gonzalo, McBurnie, N.Jackson, Marmoush, Delap — all facing rough runs, none projecting above 18 over six. Marmoush at £7.0m for two points a game is the worst deal on this list. Move along.
Kostoulas (BHA, £5.6m) — the awkward one. The projection looks tasty and Brighton's fixtures are genuinely kind, but our model ranks him bottom of this list anyway, and that's usually the tell: too many Brighton bodies fighting for the same shirt. Ask yourself who comes off on 60 when it's level. Probably him.
The honest caveat across the board: none of these are confirmed starters yet, and at this price minutes are the entire purchase. A £5.5m forward who plays 90 beats a £6.5m one who watches from the bench every single time.
The call: buy Wissa — best projection, best fixtures, proven, and priced like a mid-table punt. If you need a second cheap forward or Wissa's already in, Calvert-Lewin is the reliable fallback despite the fixtures — he's proven and the template already trusts him. Everything else in this bracket is either a rotation risk or a hope, and hope doesn't score at the weekend.
