FPL Fixtures: The Teams With The Easiest Run

FPL Fixtures: The Teams With The Easiest Run — 5 Sep

This is the GW4 edition, kept for the record. The always-current version lives at fantasyfootballiq.app/fpl-fixture-difficulty/.

The call — The map says Newcastle, and it says it twice. Six fixtures out in front of them — LEE (A), HUL (H), COV (A), AVL (H), CRY (A), EVE (H) — and the terrain is kind at both ends: our model likes them for goals *and* for clean sheets. When a run favours both, the defenders carry double freight, and that…

Chelsea are the surest ground. Their attacking run — HUL (H), BRE (A), BOU (H), EVE (A), TOT (H), MUN (H) — is the kindest on the map, and unlike most sides this early, their trio are nailed. João Pedro (£7.7m) projects around 37 points but roughly 7 in 10 managers already have him, so he keeps you level rather than lifting you. Morgan Rogers (£7.5m, about 1 in 4 own him) and Cole Palmer (£9.6m, roughly 2 in 10) are the routes to actual ground gained — both projected in the mid-30s. One warning marker: Chelsea's clean-sheet outlook is poor, so this is an attackers-only path.

Brighton are the clean-sheet high ground. Their run is very kind for shutouts, and De Cuyper (£4.7m, roughly 2 in 10 owners) is the pick, with Diego Gomez (£5.0m, hardly anyone — about 1 in 20) an intriguing cheap midfield route. Minutes, again, aren't yet certain.

A word on the obvious road: City's fixtures look favourable overall, but the route runs through Old Trafford and Anfield, and Haaland's £15.5m buys you a projection barely ahead of Hall's at a third of the price. Hold him if you own him; don't rush there this window. Leeds, meanwhile, are a defence-only proposition — kind for clean sheets, tough for goals — which makes Muharemović (£5.0m) a watchlist name, not a buy yet.

The call for the next six gameweeks: buy Lewis Hall at £5.1m. He sits on the best two-way run on the map, costs a defender's pocket change, and about 9 in 10 managers haven't found him yet. If you'd rather pay for certainty of minutes, Rogers is the nailed alternative — but Hall is the move.
