Do I have to cancel my Scout membership?
No. Keep it and use both — that is the whole offer. Show us it is active and we do not bill you until it expires (up to the end of the 2026/27 season). You lose nothing you have already paid for, and nothing changes on their side.
What counts as proof?
On the Scout site: Profile → Manage Subscription — screenshot the Subscription Details panel (Status, Start Date, Expiry Date, Renewal Status). We verify it the same way we verify FPL team imports, then delete the screenshot — we keep only your username and the expiry date.
When am I actually billed?
Nothing today — no card is taken when you claim. Premium switches on straight away and stays free for as long as your Scout membership has left. We start charging at your Scout end date: that's when your first season begins — £29.99, 83% off the £179.88 standard — and your 12 months are measured from that day, so you always get a full year.
Am I committing to anything by claiming?
Yes — and we say so up front. Claiming commits you to starting your Fantasy Football IQ membership when your Scout membership ends. That's the deal: the free months are free because the season after them is real.
What happens at renewal?
After your £29.99 first season it renews at £59.99 a year. For reference, Scout's Mega Bundle is currently £100/year (their published price, as of 9 August 2026).
I use Scout but have never paid — is there anything for me?
