About Fantasy Football IQ

Fantasy Football IQ is an independent Fantasy Premier League publication and app, made by Fantasy Football IQ Ltd. The Brief is our analysis desk: model-backed FPL coverage of captaincy, transfers, differentials, fixtures, team news and predicted line-ups, with every number drawn from our engine and the words from a named analyst.

The Fantasy Football IQ Show is our gameweek show: four hosts argue out the captaincy, the price rises and the differentials, then read out the receipts on their own calls.

How the numbers are made

Our projections are built on the official Fantasy Premier League data, expected goals (xG) from seasons of shot data, and bookmaker match odds for the near-term fixtures. Our standards

Every article names who wrote the words, and every number in it comes from the engine.
Nothing is invented. The writers use only the facts in front of them, and never claim to have watched the games.
Every piece ends on a clear call: buy, hold or sell; start or bench; captain or not.
We print the misses. The engine is held to audited, walk-forward backtests against seasons it had never seen, and the results are on the accuracy page.
Each article shows the date it was published.
