Nottingham Forest FPL: Who To Own, Captain And Avoid
The call — Forest: mid-table at both ends, and the fixture list isn't doing anyone favours Morgan Gibbs-White takes Forest's penalties, takes their free-kicks, and starts every week. That's the whole case, and it's not a bad one — when a team's attacking output runs through one man's boots, he's the only Forest attacker whose points you can actually plan around.
What has not being with FFIQ cost you this season?
One squad, picked before a ball was kicked and run for six gameweeks on three transfers — no hits taken. Scored on FPL’s own results.

The honest picture first. Our model has Forest mid-pack at both ends — roughly 12th for attack, 13th for keeping the ball out — and the run doesn't help: COV (H) and IPS (A) are the winnable ones, but CRY (A) and BRE (A) are awkward, and Arsenal and Manchester City both visit the City Ground in this stretch. That's a run where the clean sheets come in ones, not streaks, and the attack has two weeks where it might not turn up at all.
So where's the value? Not in the frontline, mostly. Gibbs-White at £7.9m is the exception — nailed, on everything dead-ball, decent haul most weeks and only about 1 in 10 own him. If you want a Forest attacker, he's the only conversation. Ndoye is starting and cheap, but he's a "fine if you already own him" player, not a transfer target into these fixtures.
The quieter value sits at the back, with the usual Cheapy question attached: who actually plays? Neco Williams and Murillo have started every week and both hang around set pieces. Aina at £4.5m is the proper enabler — starts every game, costs nothing, and frees up money for a premium elsewhere. That's what a cheap defender is for. Muñoz is the caveat: the model rates him, but two starts in four is exactly the minutes profile that turns a £5.4m defender into a bench ornament, so I'd want to see him nailed before spending.
What changes the call? A kinder run after City, or Forest's defence tightening into the top eight. Neither is here yet.
The call: don't build a Forest block into this run. If you want one, make it Gibbs-White — set pieces plus starts is a floor you can trust even in tough fixtures. If you just need a body who plays, Aina at £4.5m is the buy. Everyone else, wait.
