FPL Transfers: The Most-Bought And Most-Sold Players

This is the version of FPL Transfers: The Most-Bought And Most-Sold Players from 6 October 2026, kept for the record. The picks and the numbers have moved since. The current version →

The Ledger Didn't Move — And That Tells You Something

Not a single rank changed across all forty tracked spots yesterday. Goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, forwards — every top ten held exactly as it was, nobody dropped out, and the biggest ownership swing anywhere in the market was Pascal Groß creeping up two-tenths of a point. In accounting terms: the books balanced to the penny, and that's rarer than you'd think.

What a frozen market means for your money: no price pressure. Nobody is piling into anyone fast enough to trigger rises, and nobody is being abandoned fast enough to trigger falls. If you've been sitting on a transfer wondering whether you need to move tonight before a price jumps — you don't. The crowd is parked.

The template itself is worth reading while it's still. Haaland sits in roughly 7 in 10 squads, João Pedro in about 6½ in 10 — those two are the tax everyone pays. Rogers and Calafiori anchor their positions at around 4 and 5 in 10 respectively. Anyone without those four is playing a very different game to the field, for better or worse.

The only flickers in the ledger: Groß drifting up at Brighton, with Pickford, De Cuyper, Hall, Tarkowski and Thiago all nudging a tenth higher. Going the other way, barely: Palmer, Isak, Semenyo and Havertz all shed a tenth. None of it is a trend yet — a tenth of a point is rounding noise, not a bandwagon. The honest read is that managers are waiting for something: team news, a fixture swing, a reason.

The call: hold everything. Do not burn a transfer or take a hit into a market this quiet — there is zero price risk in waiting, which means waiting is free. Bank the transfer, watch whether the Groß drift becomes a genuine riser by tomorrow, and move only when the ledger actually tells you to. Today it's telling you to sit on your hands.
