The call — Nearly 150,000 managers have bought Schade this week — and the till is about to ring. The Brentford man sits on roughly 149,000 net transfers in, comfortably the biggest inflow on tonight's watchlist, with about 1 in 10 managers already holding him. That volume doesn't linger politely at a price threshold — it smashes through it. If Schade is on…

Kostoulas is the quieter entry in the same column. Around 131,000 net transfers in, but hardly anyone owns him yet — roughly 1 in 50 managers. Lower ownership means less traffic needed to trip a rise, so despite the smaller number he's arguably closer to the line than Schade. Two likely risers, one night to act.

The honest caveat, as always: "likely" is doing real work here. Price changes aren't published in advance, thresholds move, and a wave of late sales can stall a rise. Nobody should burn a transfer — let alone take a hit — purely to chase £0.1m on a player they weren't already planning to buy. The tenth of a million is a bonus, not a strategy.

The other side of the ledger is where patience pays. Dedić and Wilson are the meaningful fallers — roughly 21,000 net sales each, with about 1 in 50 managers still holding either. If they're on your buy list, do nothing tonight. Wait for the drop and pocket the discount. The rest of the fallers' column — Beto, Hinshelwood, Lavia, Fatawu, N.Gonzalez, Wieffer — is small-volume stuff (a few thousand sales at most) on players almost nobody owns. If you're one of the few holding and already planning to sell, tonight beats tomorrow; if not, ignore them entirely.

The call: if Schade or Kostoulas was already your transfer this week, make it before tonight's deadline and bank the value — Schade is the one I'd least want to miss, given the sheer weight of money behind him. On the sales side, sit on your hands with Dedić and Wilson: let them fall first, then buy the dip. Beat the rise, wait out the fall — that's how you keep the ledger tidy.
