FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall

This is the version of FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall from 19 September 2026, kept for the record. The picks and the numbers have moved since. The current version →

The call — Price Watch: One Rise Worth Beating Tonight The ledger says 167,872 managers have bought Groß on net this week, and with roughly 2 in 10 squads already holding him, that's the kind of traffic that trips a price threshold. Everything points to him ticking up at tonight's change — and once he does, every buyer after midnight pays £0.1m more…

Let's be precise about what that means. £0.1m sounds like nothing. It isn't. It's the difference between affording the upgrade you want in three weeks and taking a hit to fund it. If Groß is on your shortlist at all — and with that many managers piling in, he's clearly on plenty — the maths says move before the deadline, not after. Buying him tonight also means you're on the right side of the rise: sell later and you bank half of it back. Buy tomorrow and you've donated £0.1m to the price gods for the privilege of hesitating.

The honest caveat: none of this is guaranteed. Thresholds are opaque, and "closest to the line" means likely, not locked. But 167k net transfers is not a marginal case. I'd treat this one as near-certain.

Now the other side of the book. Dedić is shedding owners fast — over 12,000 net sales this week from a base of about 2 in 10 of every ten squads' worth... let's say roughly 2 in 100 managers own him, and they're leaving. He looks the most likely faller of the three. N.Gonzalez and Lavia are also drifting down, though with barely anyone owning either — about 2 in 1,000 — the sale volumes are small and the drops less certain.

Here's where the timing discipline pays: if any of those three is a player you actually want, do not buy tonight. Wait for the fall and pick him up £0.1m cheaper tomorrow. If you own Dedić and were planning to sell anyway, sell before the change — hold through a drop and you've locked in a worse selling price for no reason.

The call, in ledger terms: buy Groß tonight if he's in your plans — beat the rise and pocket the value. Hold off on Dedić, Gonzalez and Lavia until the fall lands, and if you're offloading Dedić, do it before the price does it to you. Timing is free money. Take it.
