Two more went up. Sangaré (Brentford) rose from £5.6m to £5.7m, owned by roughly 1 in 10. Hall (Newcastle) rose from £5.0m to £5.1m, owned by fewer than 1 in 10.
Eleven fell. The names that matter first. Gyökeres (Arsenal) dropped from £7.4m to £7.3m — about 1 in 20 own him, and managers are moving out. Brobbey (Sunderland) fell to £5.9m with about 1 in 10 holding. Senesi (Spurs) fell to £5.9m.
The rest of the list: Wilson (Leeds) to £6.4m, Igor Jesus (Forest) to £5.9m, Araujo (Liverpool) to £5.4m, Sarr (Palace) to £6.3m, Martinelli (Arsenal) to £6.3m, Philogene (Ipswich) to £5.4m, Nørgaard (Everton) to £4.9m. Ownership on all of them sits between 1 in 20 and almost nobody.
What it means. If you hold João Pedro, Sangaré or Hall, you bank the value and do nothing. If you were planning to buy any of the three, the price you pay went up by £0.1m — the plan does not change, the cost does.
The fallers cut the other way. Every 0.1m drop eats into the selling price of anyone who holds them. Managers holding Gyökeres at 1 in 20 ownership, or Brobbey, or Senesi, now own players the market is leaving.
The call. Buy João Pedro at £7.7m if he was on your list — 7 in 10 managers made that decision before the rise and the price says more are coming. Anyone holding a faller they are not starting — Gyökeres, Brobbey, Senesi, Wilson — sells now, while the price they get is the price on the screen. Hold the risers. Move the dead weight on.
