FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall

This is the version of FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall from 22 September 2026, kept for the record. The picks and the numbers have moved since. The current version →

The call — Price Watch: Four Rises Brewing Tonight — and the Ledger Says Move Now on One More than 200,000 managers have bought De Cuyper this week and barely anyone has sold him. That's the single loudest number on tonight's ledger, and it's why he's front of the queue to go up £0.1m when the prices tick over.

He's already in about 3 in 10 squads, so this isn't a sneaky punt — it's the template forming in real time. Every night you wait is a night the buy-in gets dearer and your eventual selling price gets thinner. If he's on your shortlist at all, the maths says tonight, not tomorrow.

Behind him, three more names are pressing against the threshold. Tarkowski — owned by roughly 1 in 6 — has pulled in over 150,000 net buys, and Brobbey (fewer than 1 in 10 own him) isn't far behind on about 140,000. King is the quiet one: hardly anyone has him, well under 1 in 10, but nearly 50,000 net buys on that tiny base is exactly the profile that sneaks a rise while nobody's watching. None of these are certainties — thresholds shift, and a rise pencilled in for tonight can slip a day — but all four are close enough that the risk is real.

The honest caveat: never buy a player purely to beat £0.1m. A tenth of a million is a rounding error next to a bad pick, and remember you only bank half of any rise when you sell. Beat the rise on players you already wanted — that's free money. Chase it on players you didn't — that's speculation dressed as thrift.

On the other side of the book, the fallers are a graveyard of forgotten squads: Lavia, Beto, Fatawu, J.Ramsey, Wieffer, Amenda, Hinshelwood, Shahar. Every one of them sits at 1 in 100-ish ownership or thereabouts, all bleeding sellers. If any of these are dead weight on your bench, the drop costs you £0.1m of squad value — annoying, but only half of that was ever yours to keep. Don't burn a transfer tonight just to dodge it. And if you fancy one as a future bench body, the fall works for you: wait, and buy him cheaper.

The call: if De Cuyper — or Tarkowski — was already this week's plan, do the deal before tonight's deadline and pocket the rise. Everything on the fallers list: sit on your hands and let the price come to you.
