FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall
Price Watch: A Quarter of a Million Managers Are About to Move the Market
Nearly 248,000 net transfers in on Groß. That's the biggest queue at tonight's tills, and it's the kind of number that doesn't leave a price standing. He's already sitting in nearly 2 in 10 squads, so if he's on your shortlist at all, the ledger says tonight is when you act — every night you wait after a rise is £0.1m of value you've handed back.
He's not alone. Gibbs-White (about 1 in 10 own him, 233,000 net in) and Konsa (nearly 2 in 10, 147,000 net in) are both pressed right up against the threshold. These are the three that matter to most squads: real ownership, real momentum, and a rise that looks likely rather than possible. The usual honesty applies — thresholds move, algorithms hiccup, and "likely" is not "certain" — but when the traffic is this one-directional, the accountant in me says the risk of buying a night early is smaller than the cost of buying a morning late.
Further down the book, Belloumi (192,000 in, barely 3 in 10... no, 3 in 100 — hardly anyone owns him yet) and Schade (207,000 in) are punt territory. Emersonn, Giles and Mykolenko are also creeping toward rises, but only jump early if they were genuinely in your plans. Buying a player you don't want just to bank £0.1m is how squads fill up with dead money.
On the other side of the ledger, the fallers are a quiet bunch. Mosquera is the only one shifting real volume (49,000 net out), with Collins behind him. The rest — Cook, Dango, Georginio, Wieffer, David, Marc Guiu — are low-owned fringe names bleeding a few thousand sales each. Here the maths flips: if you want any of these players, patience pays. Wait out the drop and buy them £0.1m cheaper. And if you're the one holding a faller, don't panic-sell tonight purely to dodge the fall — selling price mechanics mean you usually only lose half of it anyway.
The call: if Groß, Gibbs-White or Konsa were coming into your team this week regardless, make the move tonight before the price does. Leave the fallers exactly where they are — tomorrow they cost less.
