The call — The Tzolis Ledger: Move Tonight or Pay Tomorrow Over half a million managers have shipped Christos Tzolis out this week — a net exodus of 563,000-plus, comfortably the biggest number on tonight's price sheet. When nearly 2 in 10 squads own a player and that many are running for the door, the £0.1m fall isn't a maybe. It's about as…

So here's tonight's ledger, and how to time it.

The rises to beat. Haaland leads the queue with 343,000 net transfers in — remarkable churn for a player already sitting in about 7 in 10 squads. If he's in your plans for the next fortnight, the £0.1m you save by moving tonight is free money. Groß (owned by roughly 2 in 10, 323,000 net in) and Egan (about 1 in 2 of every 10 squads — hardly anyone, yet 268,000 buys) are both pressing hard against their thresholds too. Dedić, Yalcouyé and Foden sit just behind; likely rather than nailed, but the direction is one-way.

The falls to wait out. Tzolis is the headline, but Mosquera matters too — owned by about 4 in 10-ish of the more defensive squads out there and bleeding 104,000 net sales. The maths here cuts both ways. If you're *selling* either, do it before tonight's deadline and bank the current price. If you're *buying*, sit on your hands — the same player is very likely £0.1m cheaper tomorrow morning, and paying today's price for tomorrow's asset is how value leaks out of a squad. The Arsenal defenders (Timber, Saliba) and Digne are drifting down too, but on tiny ownership and small volumes — nothing there demands action.

The call. One caveat first: none of this is guaranteed until the prices actually tick over, and thresholds can shift late. But the volumes on the big names leave little room for doubt. If Haaland or Groß is a move you were making this week anyway, make it tonight and beat the rise — that's £0.1m earned for doing nothing but acting early. If Tzolis or Mosquera is a move you were making, split it: sellers go now, buyers wait for the discount. Don't transfer in anyone tonight purely to chase a rise — but don't pay tomorrow's price for a player you could own at today's.
