FPL Price Changes Tonight: Who's Set To Rise Or Fall
The call — Price Watch: Eight Rises Brewing Tonight — And One Faller Worth Waiting Out The ledger doesn't lie: João Pedro has pulled in a net 238,828 buyers this week, and that's the sort of number that moves a price tonight, not eventually. When two in three managers already own a player — and he's still hoovering up nearly a quarter of…

One squad, picked before a ball was kicked and run for six gameweeks on three transfers — no hits taken. Scored on FPL’s own results.

He's not alone. Kayode (222,441 net in, owned by fewer than 1 in 10) and Calafiori (218,331 net in, roughly 4 in 10 owners) are both queued up behind him. Then come the Chelsea and Arsenal midfield movers: Palmer at 197,545 net transfers with only about 1 in 10 aboard, and Ødegaard at 190,632 with a similar ownership. Further down the sheet, Gakpo (111,082), Hinshelwood (102,468) and Mendy (79,050) are all trending the right way but with less certainty — I'd call those "possible" rather than "probable".
The usual caveat from this desk: nothing rises until it rises. Net transfers point at the threshold; they don't guarantee it clears tonight. But the top four names on this list are as close to bankable as price-watching gets.
On the other side of the book, the fallers are more interesting for what they tell you about the crowd. Watkins is bleeding owners fast — 147,776 net out this week, with about 1 in 10 still holding — and Bruno Guimarães is shipping 90,591. If either is on your shortlist, patience is literally money: wait a night or two and you may buy them cheaper. The rest of the fallers (Merino, Manzambi, Nedeljkovic, Digne, J.Timber, Dowman) are fringe names barely anyone owns; let them drift, they're not your problem.
The call, in ledger order:
- Buy tonight if João Pedro, Kayode, Calafiori, Palmer or Ødegaard are already in your plans. Every one of them is a genuine candidate to rise, and £0.1m saved now is £0.1m of squad value banked — do the move before the market does it for you.
- Don't panic-buy Gakpo, Hinshelwood or Mendy purely on price fear — the numbers say possible, not certain, and buying a player you don't want to dodge a rise that may not come is bad accounting.
- Wait out Watkins and Bruno G. If you want them, they're getting cheaper, not dearer. Sit on your hands and pocket the discount.
Move on the top of the risers list tonight; let the fallers come to you.
