FPL Price Changes Mon 19 Oct 2026: Four up, six down: Rogers leads
The call — Rogers moved to £8.0m overnight. The Chelsea midfielder went up a tenth from £7.9m. He is owned by 47.9% of managers. Nearly half the game already has him. The rest now pay more. Three others rose. Groß of Brighton went from £6.1m to £6.2m, owned by 45.2% of managers.

His team-mate De Cuyper climbed from £5.2m to £5.3m, owned by 40.8% of managers. Brighton managers are buying in numbers at the back and in midfield. The one outlier is Doku. The Manchester City winger rose from £7.4m to £7.5m with ownership at just 2.3% of managers. A rise at that level of ownership means the buying has come in a burst.
Six players fell. Welbeck of Chelsea dropped from £5.9m to £5.8m, owned by 0.8% of managers. The other five sit at 0.1% ownership each: Stroud of Hull (£5.0m to £4.9m), Alcaraz of Everton (£4.9m to £4.8m), Grimes and Onyeka of Coventry (both £4.9m to £4.8m) and Wieffer of Brighton (£4.9m to £4.8m). Nobody owns these players. The market is pricing that in.
What it means. If you hold Rogers, Groß or De Cuyper, you banked value overnight. Hold. Selling now hands the gain back in most cases. If you were chasing any of them, the cost went up a tenth. A tenth is not a reason to abandon a plan. It is also not a reason to rush one.
Doku is the one to watch in your planning. At £7.5m and 2.3% ownership, almost nobody has him. The rise tells you some managers have moved. That is a fact, not a forecast.
The fallers are a cleaner read. Welbeck at £5.8m is owned by 0.8% of managers. The five at 0.1% — Stroud, Alcaraz, Grimes, Onyeka, Wieffer — are being sold by the few who had them. If you hold one as a bench body and he plays minutes, the fall costs you little. If you hold one and he does not play, the price drop is the market telling you what you already know.
The call: hold the risers if you own them, and do not pay the extra tenth in a panic if you don't. Let the 0.1% fallers go if they are not playing — a £4.8m player who sits is dead money, whatever the price.
