FPL Penalty And Set-Piece Takers 2026/27: The Full List

This is the version of FPL Penalty And Set-Piece Takers 2026/27: The Full List from 26 August 2026, kept for the record. The picks and the numbers have moved since. The current version →

The call — The set-piece sheet is out. Bukayo Saka is Arsenal's first-choice penalty taker. Ahead of Gyökeres. Plus free kicks with Rice. Plus corners. And only about 1 in 10 managers own him. That's the whole story, really. But let's do the sheet properly.

One squad, picked before a ball was kicked and run for six gameweeks on three transfers — no hits taken. Scored on FPL’s own results.

No changes flagged this week. The orders stand. Bruno Fernandes is the greediest man in the league — penalties, free kicks and corners, all his at United. Palmer's on Chelsea pens. Szoboszlai holds pens, free kicks and corners at Liverpool, which is a lot of dead-ball work for £7.0m. Haaland takes City's pens, as ever.

Two takers you leave alone: Kroupi Jr holds Bournemouth's penalty duty but is out with a foot injury, no return date. Same story for Coventry's Wright — thigh, unknown. Not buys. Not watchlist. Injured.

Now the money. Our projections have Palmer (£9.5m) top of the takers over the next six — good for roughly 35 points, usually 5-6 a week with big weeks in him. But 1.3 in 10 own him and rising. Thiago at £8.0m projects nearly as well on Brentford pens, but nearly 2 in 10 are already there. Haaland and Fernandes? 7 in 10 and 5 in 10. Everyone's got them. No thanks.

Saka is the one. £9.5m, first on Arsenal's pens, sharing free kicks and corners, projected for a solid 5-plus a week over the next six — and he can go massive when Arsenal click at home. Barely 1 in 10 own him. That's the gap I hunt. The honest bit: Gyökeres is second on the pen list and might muscle in, and Arsenal rotate wide players more than you'd like. Fine. Every good pick has a catch.

My ledger's decent on these. I flagged Szoboszlai's set-piece haul before his price moved. Same logic here, better upside.

The call: buy Saka. One in ten own the man taking Arsenal's penalties. That maths doesn't stay quiet for long.
