FPL Price Changes Wed 9 Sep 2026: Overnight prices: Groß up, six fall

These are the FPL price changes from the night of Wed 9 Sep 2026. Tonight’s live price board →

The call — Pascal Groß rose overnight. Brighton's midfielder now costs £5.6m, up from £5.5m. Just under 2 in 10 managers own him. That is the only rise of the night, and it tells you where the money is going. The fallers are a different story. Fernandes of Tottenham dropped from £5.9m to £5.8m. What it means if you hold Groß: nothing changes. You bought at £5.5m or lower. You now carry value the market cannot get back. Hold.

What it means if you were chasing him: the move cost you £0.1m. That does not break the case for him — his ownership climbed for a reason, and £5.6m still fits any midfield. If he was on your list at £5.5m, he stays on it at £5.6m. Buy him for the same reasons you had yesterday, not because the price moved.

The fallers: do not buy a player because he got cheaper. A £0.1m saving on Mazraoui or Sadiki is not a case. Ownership at these levels — 6 in 1,000 for Mazraoui, 3 in 1,000 for Sadiki — says managers who watch these squads do not want them. If you hold any of the six, the drop alone is not a sell signal, but it confirms the market has moved on. If they were already on your shortlist for football reasons, the price helps. If not, leave them.

The call: hold Groß if you have him, buy him if you were going to, and let the fallers fall.
