These are the FPL price changes from the night of Thu 1 Oct 2026. Tonight’s live price board →

The call — Raya rose a tick. He now costs £6.1m. About 4 in 10 managers own him. That is the headline move of the night. The rest of the risers. Groß went to £5.8m — about 3 in 10 own him. The fallers. João Pedro dropped to £7.7m. About 6 to 7 in 10 managers hold him — that is template territory shedding value. Fernandes fell to £11.9m with about 4 in 10 holding. Tzolis is £6.3m, O'Reilly £6.3m, Sangaré £5.6m, Maguire £4.8m, Shaw £4.3m, Brobbey £5.7m, Lacroix £5.9m, Ndiaye £5.8m. Again, all one tick.

What this means. A tick does not change a player's case. If Raya made sense for you at £6.0m, he makes sense at £6.1m. If you were already out on Fernandes, the fall cost you £0.1m in sale price — nothing more. The ownership numbers tell the real story: Brighton's pair rising on 3-in-10 ownership shows money moving in at the back end of the market; João Pedro falling while two thirds of the game hold him shows money moving out at the top of it.

The holdings question. De Cuyper at £5.0m and Konsa at £4.6m are the prices to note. Both sit in the defender bracket where 0.1m matters most — a £4.6m defender fits where a £4.7m one does not. Those windows are now 0.1m tighter. At the other end, Shaw at £4.3m and Maguire at £4.8m shed value from small ownership bases — 7 to 9 in 10 managers never held them.

The call. If De Cuyper or Konsa were on your shortlist, buy at the price as it stands — the case that put them there has not changed. João Pedro holders hold; one tick on a player owned by 6 to 7 in 10 is not a sell. Sell Shaw and Maguire only if that move was already planned.
