Short answer: As of 25 October 2026, published paid prices run from £2.49 a month (Fantasy Football Hub Starter, a sale price) to £5.99 a month at FFIQ. FPL itself is free, and every tool here has a free tier, so you can start without paying.

Key takeaways

  1. Start with the free tiers; every tool listed has one, and FPL itself is free to play.
  2. Check whether a price is billed monthly, annually or yearly, because the headline figures are not like for like.
  3. Two of the cheaper prices are labelled sale or limited-time, so confirm what they renew at.
  4. Pay only for what you will use: articles and community, a planner, or a decision for your own team.
  5. FFIQ is not the cheapest, and a Scout member can run it alongside their Scout membership.

The published prices side by side

Here is what each tool publishes, as of 25 October 2026:

  • Fantasy Football Scout: Chief Scout at £3.25 a month, billed annually.
  • Fantasy Football Hub: Starter at £2.49 a month, billed yearly. This is a 50%-off sale price.
  • Fantasy Football Fix: Premium at £3.48 a month, billed yearly. This is a limited-time price.
  • FPL Review: through Patreon.
  • LiveFPL: an optional subscription to remove ads.
  • Fantasy Football IQ (FFIQ): £5.99 a month (the Founding Season price, 60% off the standard £14.99), or £59.99 a year.

For FPL Review and LiveFPL we do not have a price figure to quote, so check their sites for the current amount.

Read the billing wording before you compare

A monthly figure can mean very different things. Scout's £3.25 a month is billed annually, and Hub's £2.49 and Fix's £3.48 are billed yearly. That means you pay for a whole year up front, not a small amount each month.

FFIQ lists a monthly price of £5.99 and a yearly price of £59.99, so you can choose either. If you want to pay month to month, that is worth knowing, but it also means FFIQ's monthly figure is higher than the others' headline numbers. We would rather say that plainly than have you find it out later.

Sale prices and what they mean

Two of the prices above come with a label. Fantasy Football Hub's Starter at £2.49 a month is described as a 50%-off sale price, and Fantasy Football Fix's Premium at £3.48 a month is described as a limited-time price. We do not know how long either will last or what they move to afterwards.

FFIQ's £5.99 a month is also a reduced price: it is the Founding Season price, 60% off the standard £14.99. The sensible habit with all of them is to look for the renewal price before you enter a card, not just the first figure on the page.

What you get for nothing

You can learn a lot before spending anything. FPL itself is free to play, and each tool has something free:

  • Fantasy Football Scout: Assistant Scout, with key articles, news, community, basic fixture data and a team rating.
  • Fantasy Football Hub: an AI team rating, though you need to give an email address.
  • FPL Review: the free projection model in the planner.
  • LiveFPL: live rank, leagues, price predictor, planner and ticker.
  • Fantasy Football Fix: a free account.
  • FFIQ: a projection for every player six gameweeks ahead, predicted line-ups, the weekly captain and transfer calls, and a free team rater (FPL Rate My Team), all with no account.

If one of these covers what you need, there is no reason to pay at all.

Choosing what is worth paying for

Think about what you actually do each week. If you enjoy reading, listening and chatting, Fantasy Football Scout is built around articles, community, a podcast and data tools. If you want a planner and a transfer solver driven by projections, FPL Review is aimed at that. LiveFPL suits anyone who mainly wants live rank, leagues and price predictions, and its free tier covers a lot.

If you would like to ask questions about your own team, the picture is mixed. Fantasy Football Fix lists ChatFPL, and FFIQ has Ask IQ. FPL Review and LiveFPL do not offer an AI chat about your team, and Scout and Hub do not list one. None of the tools here, apart from FFIQ, publishes an accuracy figure for its picks, so you cannot judge them on a track record.

Where FFIQ fits

FFIQ gives you projections for every player and the move for your own team before every deadline: captain, transfers, chips and line-up, plus Ask IQ, an AI you can ask anything about your team. Every call combines 34 calculations with an algorithm that keeps updating as the scenario changes.

Premium includes the War Room, IQ for any question about your own team, projected points six gameweeks ahead, your mini-leagues (who is beating you and how to catch them), and price-rise alerts for your players the night before. It costs £5.99 a month, or £59.99 a year. Your first month is free; a card is needed and you can cancel any time.

We publish our record too: picks made before each deadline and scored on FPL's results, misses included. A Scout member can run FFIQ alongside their Scout membership, so it does not have to replace something you already like.

Before you hand anything over

Whatever you choose, no tool needs your FPL password to read your team. Your team ID is enough, and it is the number in the web address of your Points page on the official FPL site. FFIQ never asks for your password.

It also helps to know that FPL publishes every manager's picks only after the deadline passes. Between deadlines, any tool reads the squad FPL last locked, so do not expect a paid tool to see a transfer you made an hour ago.

Finally, remember the basics of the game itself. You get free transfers each gameweek, and extra transfers cost four points each. The chips are the Wildcard, Free Hit, Bench Boost and Triple Captain. A tool is only worth its price if it helps you use those well. For a wider comparison, see our guide to the best FPL tools.
