United's next six look like a green run — and our model has the attack to exploit it.

The read: our projections rank Manchester United among the top handful of attacks in the league and, more surprisingly for anyone anchored to last season, among the three meanest defences. Pair that with a schedule our model reads as a very kind one for attacking returns and a favourable one for clean sheets — Hull away, Ipswich at home, Everton away, then City at home, Fulham away and Spurs at home — and this is one of the better six-game windows available right now.

Bruno Fernandes is the pick. At £12.0m he's the most expensive route in, but he's also the safest, projected for roughly 35 points across the six and already owned by close to half the game. Behind him, Mbeumo at £8.0m is the differential our model likes most: barely a point or two behind Fernandes on projection at two-thirds of the price, and owned by only around 13%. Cunha, also £8.0m and similarly lightly owned, sits a clear step below both — a fine hold, but our model would rather you took Mbeumo if you're only funding one.

The nuance: that defensive ranking is the part to handle carefully. Two of the six are City at home and Spurs at home, and the away trips to Everton and Fulham aren't gifts either. The clean-sheet upside is real but front-loaded — Hull and Ipswich are where the sheets are likeliest to land. Lammens at £5.0m is the cheaper, cleaner way to access it than a defender: he's projected for around 13 points, marginally ahead of Maguire, whose 7% ownership makes him a punt rather than a plan. Remember that defensive assets are bought for shutouts, not upside, so don't overpay for the name.

One more caveat: with three midfielders crowding United's productive slots, doubling up dilutes rather than doubles. Our model's ordering is a preference, not a shopping list.

FPL VERDICT — Buy Mbeumo. At £8.0m with low ownership and a projection within touching distance of a £12.0m premium, he's the standout value in this window. Fernandes is a captain option for the Hull and Ipswich fixtures and an obvious hold if you have him. Cunha: hold. Lammens: watch as a cheap keeper if you need to free up funds early. Maguire: avoid.
