Team News: Every Flag, Timestamped

This is the GW1 edition, kept for the record. The always-current version lives at fantasyfootballiq.app/team-news/.

The call — Three GW1 flags. One is a zero, one is a 75, one is a zero nobody owns. The record, newest first. 29 July, 17:30. Kroupi Jr (BOU, £7.5m) logged as injured. Foot injury. Return date unknown. Chance of playing GW1: zero. Ownership: under 1 in 10 managers, and falling is not a fact I have, so I state only the…

23 July, 12:01. Šeško (MUN, £7.0m) logged as doubtful. Shin injury. 75% chance of playing. Ownership: fewer than 3 in 100.

23 July, 12:01. Ekitiké (LIV, £7.5m) logged as injured. Achilles injury. Return date unknown. Chance of playing: zero. Ownership: 2 in every 1,000.

That is the full set. Nothing here has been updated since 29 July.

The nuance: a 75% flag is not a start. It is a percentage FPL logged on 23 July and has not changed in six days. Šeško at £7.0m may play, may be benched, may be withdrawn late. Our projections cannot resolve that, and I will not guess it. What is known is the timestamp and the number attached to it. Two zeros are different. A zero with no return date is not a one-week absence you plan around; it is an open file.

Kroupi Jr at £7.5m is a striker slot doing nothing in a squad, held by roughly 1 in 20. Ekitiké at £7.5m is held by almost nobody, so for most managers this is not a decision at all.

FPL VERDICT. Kroupi Jr: move on. Zero chance, no return date, £7.5m recovered. Ekitiké: move on, same reasons, if you are one of the few holding. Šeško: bench him for GW1. A 75 is not a confirmed start, and a bench costs you nothing you cannot reverse. Keep him in the squad at £7.0m; do not start him on a flag.
